Condon Arts Council is proud to partner with Shaniko Music Sanctuary to welcome Tuesday String Band to Condon, Oregon!

TUESDAY STRING BAND is a young, touring Bluegrass trio known for their fast, tight sound and the way that they connect with an audience. They blend traditional and modern music in an exciting live show full of medleys, segues, and extended improvisations.

This full-time Bluegrass trio that has played nearly 500 shows in their 3 short years as a band. They met in the music program at Western Oregon University where they all earned their music degrees and decided to pursue a career as a touring band. They got their start playing at a local pub every Tuesday night, but have since moved on to playing clubs, theaters, and festival stages from northern Washington all the way down to sunny Arizona. The group has a 3-part mission: to make a modest living as a full-time band, to educate the next generation of "pickers" through lessons and workshops, and to do their part in preserving the Bluegrass tradition by building up the community surrounding it!
